Beastformer and Laserbeast Gallery

Although Beastformers (known as Battle Beasts in the states) have always been popular among Transformers collectors due to their collectibility and relation to Transformers, demand for the figures heated up massively in 2006, when new collectors entering the fandom and vicious competition on Yahoo Japan drove up demand and prices for the items. Because most Japanese collectors have grown wise to demand overseas for the figures, it is difficult to find them for a reasonable price in Japan. However, since I have sources familiar with the line I still manage to give my customers some good deals on the figures.

The above picture is a single-boxed complete set of Laserbeasts, the last series of Battlebeasts that went almost entrely unreleased outside Japan. Below are the vehicles and giftsets from the Laserbeasts wave.

Although the popular clear Killer Fish figure was marketed through a few contests/giveaways, the most visual appealing release of the figure was via the Perfect Six Set, a giftset containing the clear fish and six normal figures, as well as a limited edition trading card for the clear fish that was not released anywhere else. The set also had a random promotion where there was chance of finding a telephone card version of the Green Chameles/Platinum Tiger hologram card in the box. These cards almost never turn up for sale, so it seems that very few were produced.
